Hardware Requirements

SERVER CONFIGURATION

The performance of the database is determined by the processor performance and the total number of users.

• Processor (s): Core 2 Quad Q6600 (1-25 user) or higher
• Memory (RAM): 4GB (1-25 user)

For more than 25 users move to 8GB RAM and higher processor.

• DISK I/O : Any hard drive configuration is supported, Raid 10 configuration is suggested.

CLIENT DESKTOP CONFIGURATION

The required hardware depends on the working video resolution to be used at each desktop.

• Processor(s): Core 2 Duo E2200 or higher.
• Memory: at least 2 GB (If other applications are running on the machine at the same time, additional memory may be advised).
• Graphics card: Any recent graphics card from vendors such as Nvidia, ATI is recommended for the Client configuration.

For HD applications, the graphics adapter should be equipped with at least 256MB.

Suggested Monitor Resolution: 1680x1050

Software Requirements

SERVER DATABASE

Microsoft Windows Server 2003R2 or Server 2008 SP2

• Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and 3.5SP1
• Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) V6.0 for 2003 or V7.0 for 2008 with 6.0 compatibility pack
• Windows Update Service roles

CLIENT DESKTOP CONFIGURATION

Operating System(32bit): Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3,Windows Vista.

• Windows Media Player 11
• Internet Explorer 7

Supported Video Hardware

SDI video ingest: Matrox XMIO2 Videoboard series.

Installation and Network Requirements

The performances largely depend on the network bandwith.

It's strongly recommended to use a Gigabit connection.
