MANTRICS Visual QC

Sometimes it’s impossible to leave the tape environment. In these situations you need to perform a base band quality control to check if some defect has occurred and describe it.

Available as either a stand-alone application, producing an XML format defect-log for third-party tape library systems, or integrated into a MANTRICS Workflow Manager system, MANTRICS Visual QC allows the operator to track both subjective and objective defects, enhancing the organization performances.

The defect tracking helps you in standardize the process, being aware of the tape “history”.

Fully integrated with tape library systems, the Mantrics solution obtains information from them and when the QC has been performed, the report is directly integrated in the tape library system.

The QC operator examines the tape, noticing eventual subjective defects. Each anomaly is reported inside the Visual QC Page with exact time code. He can review the tape segments many times and describe the defects through Virtual Keyboards.

By using the Virtual Keyboards the operator may customize the interface with the most frequent defects and streamline the reporting process.
